The video behind the video… as I was walking back to my car after filming the video of me dancing in the Holy Spirit. I heard God speak to me, “Film a video of why you did this.”I started to question, “Why do I need to do that?” I heard it again, “Film a video of why you did this.” I didn’t question the second time. I obeyed. To obey is better than sacrifice. We don’t always understand why God asks us to do something. Today hit me a bit hard that it’s exactly 4 months from today that I turn 39 years old! 🤓 Life has been a bit challenging lately, but even in every trial and struggle God has a perfect plan. I don’t want to make excuses for why I have neglected my health and fitness the last few years. I just know I am a fighter and I will do all I can to get my body back to health. Our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit and we need to treat them as such. I know my hormones aren’t quite right. I also got my tubes tied after Leia was born and I feel like that affected my body a ton more than I thought. I have some spiritual insights since doing this but that’s another story. Maybe it’s also wild to me that I had a dream last night I was 40 years old and pregnant 😆.I just know I need to fight a little harder and differently than I did in my 20’s! 3.22mile walk/run today. Just taking it day by day. After all it’s not to the swift but to those who endure. 🙏 #fight #change #discipline #conqueror #health

It’s crazy that we have now been on Seeking Sister Wife for 4 seasons now! The journey of living plural in today’s world along with being on reality TV has been wild 🤪. With all the ups and downs I am still so thankful for each moment. God has perfected me so much and I can say I wouldn’t be where I am or who I am today without these parts of my life. One of my passions is writing/journaling. I love looking back and remembering the things that God has done through the year, the things he has taught me and how he has drawn me closer to him. When my boys were little they loved to “write” in my journal. I used to get frustrated. I would say this is mom’s journal and I would give them something else to draw on. Having Leia she loves to do the same thing. But God has changed my thinking. We are setting examples for our children in all we do and say. It now brings me joy to see her wanting to do what I am doing. My journal pages are messy, some torn and hard to read but it’s so perfect to me now. I am thankful for how God perfects us and changes us to be more like him. Now I look back on the “writings” of my sons with joy. I remember as they could actually write words they would write, “I love you mom!” Being a mother truly changes you in crazy ways. I thank God for making me a mother and all his amazing plans for my life. God giving us our baby girl was a crazy surprise and a beautiful blessing! 🙌💗You don’t know what you need until you have it.🤓🙏I can’t imagine life without her. Having two teenage boys and a baby is interesting 😜. The big age gap of 13 years from our youngest son Solomon to Leia has taught me so much. I was a young mother with my boys and honestly immature and selfish. They made helped me become a better person in so many ways. I never thought I wanted to be a mom, but man was I so stupid. Being a mother is such an amazing gift 🎁. i feel like this time with Leia I am soaking up every moment differently. Maybe because I am older and wiser and you realize that time really does fly by. You can never go back only forwards. I had my tubes tied after Leia was born so unless God regrows my tubes 😳😆Leia is my last baby. But I am excited for my sister wife’s to have babies and help them raise their babies. Every season of life is a treasure. Thank you Lord for your timing is always perfect and your ways past finding out or understanding. 💕Enjoy all God has given you in life or even not given you. To all the women; give thanks in all things for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 🙏🙌
